October is the month of celebration for me... not only is it my birthday, my bestie's birthday, it is also the anniversary of MJ in Singapore!

This October, MJ is celebrating our 1st anniversary in SG!!!

The girls and I met up to celebrate MJ's birthday over a lovely meal at Pasta Cafe.

here's some of the pics we took!

We were brought to tour the flagship MJ outlet at Ngee Ann City..

If you are wondering what these doll houses are for, they are actually modelled after the best-selling chapters in MJ.

These dollhouses not only showcase the elements and story behind each chapter, each product from the specific chapters are also displayed along with the dolls.

Chapters 20,21,22,23 were displayed from Sep 30^th to Oct 14^th while chapters 8, 11,12, 15 were displayed till Nov 2^nd.

I especially love this Chapter as it depicts the MJ girl as sophisticated and effortless. What do you think?

While the girls and i were talking about how fast time flies, I realised that it has been about a year since i've joined Majolica Majorca as ambassador..

The MJ ambassadors and I have really bonded over this past year.. from exotic dancing, to chasing peacocks around Sentosa, time seems to fly by so fast when we are having fun..

This time, besides the lovely items that we usually receive after every outing, the MJ team came up with a really lovely, exquisite (and expensive) gift for us!

It’s an exclusive Majolica Majorca dresser with 4 of their best-selling items inside! – Rouge majex, jewelling pencil, lash bone mascara, lash gorgeous wing!

These are just some of the MJ products i've received over the past year and i really love every item from MJ!! :)

With such fab products, it is little wonder that MJ has expanded from one flagship store in Ngee Ann City to 39 stores in this short span of a year!!

Dear all!!!
i'm back!!!!
Sorry for my lack of updates, been so caught up with work that i hardly have the time to come online.. and i'm too tired to blog during the weekends when i'm off! :(

Here's some news about me to show i'm still aliveee..

1) I've recently perused a Blackberry Bold!!! It really helps to improve the speed of my replies and connect to the rest of the world during my free time before/after work.
Everyone's also been so busy that email seems to be the only way i can communicate quickly with my friends.. :) the only downside is that I'm still typing real slow. haha..

2) i've been working for the past 1.5 months. :) :)
shan't share where i'm working at with you all, but just to let you know, work's been great and the colleagues are really nice & down-to-earth.
I've been feeling so blessed recently as I'm learning so much and meeting so many helpful people.

3) I've been designing gorgeous year-end collections for MeltCouture and my next post would be on Wednesday, September 16th!!!! Loads and loads of gorgeous clothes and of course, it will be MeltCouture's Manufactured Part 4... so i hope you girls are as excited about it as i am! whee!!!

4) Took a breather from my regimental work-home life and joined the MJ girls for an outing!
I love MJ outings cos they are always packed with so much surprises.. :D

For this meeting, our lovely readers came to experience our MJ activities for themselves!! And it was a real pleasure to have met them! :D

Unfortunately, as i'm now working, i was 3 hours late for the meeting and most of them have left by the time i got there.. :(

However, I managed to take a couple of photos with my lovely girls..

As usual, the setup at our MJ meetings are intricate and gorgeous..










This setting is in sync with our new Chapter 'Fairy Sadistic'..
This theme strikes me as dark and enchanting, as much as i'm captivated by the gorgeous array of products that is launched with this Chapter! (I'll be blogging about that real soon so do keep a lookout for it :))

And as everyone knows, no MJ meeting is complete without a "SURPRISE" activity..
This time, the MJ team decided to get manga artists to draw us as dark fairies with "Piercing eyes", an idea inspired by our theme..




This is their interpretation of me.. :D

My new MJ Products!!

This particular product from MJ got me really excited...
Presenting, MAJOEROTICA.. the latest Glittery Perfume Balm from Majolica Majorca!!!

Technicalities aside, here's how i look great with my new Jewelling Eye Colour!!!

For day.. I blend the lighter shades of pink together..

For night, i add on the darker hues to create a defined smoky look...

On a more casual note, i've been trying to enjoy life to the fullest before time becomes a luxury when i start work (which will be pretty soon.. update you guys again hehe)..

Although i haven't had the opportunity to meet some of the people whom i haven't met in ages (benita, kheng, alex.. etc), I'm intending to use this month to really catch up with my long lost pals so please respond to my text huh!!

7th July, my sis' birthday..
Yet, when i woke up in the morning.. i was the one to be surprised. :)
found this outside my door with best wishes from my sister... how sweet, and i completely forgot to buy her a birthday gift!! I'm mean.Commencement day was a day i looked forward to ever since i entered uni.. Not that this day held any significant meaning, but more or rather, it signified the end of my years of toiling and slogging for good grades. :)

On this day of graduation, however, my feelings were mixed. All my life, I followed what seemed like the "right path" to me, getting grades good enough to get me through to JC and Uni comfortably. In Uni, I believed that not getting below a "B" grade was good enough. My efforts allowed me not to get a single "C", but still, I believe I haven't actually put in my best effort to strive for the best that I can be.

Everything i've done so far had been steps neatly carved out by the Singaporean education system and i've never had the chance to sit down and think through carefully what i really wanted and give my 100% to work towards it.

This day, I am finally freed from the apron-strings of the system. But my life ahead still seems blurry and fluid. I've had 22 long years to think through what i want to do with my life. And at this point, i can't deny I know exactly what i want. But... this is the beginning of an incredulous journey and I'm glad to have my family and friends with me while i embark on my search for my own meaning in life.

We arrived at Vivo for dinner and saw this rainbow in the Sky. Things surely must get better from hereon. :)



While we were walking out of the restuarant, I looked at the back view of the 2 dearest people who brought me up and I can't help but feel that they have really aged.. My dad has always been the Mr Nice Guy who is so easy-going and never fails to help me when i'm in need. My mummy, on the other hand, is a go-getter who has taught me so much about putting my best efforts into everything..

I love the way they are so unobtrusive in allowing me to make my own decisions about my life's path.. So, a big THANKS to dad and mum for everything, putting me through school without a worry and providing for me. Everything that i own today is because of the many sacrifices you made. :)
